<srinik> aka [m]: sorry i was out of office, BTW what platform is this?
<aka_[m]> <srinik> "aka [m]: sorry i was out of..." <- 8953
<aka_[m]> not sure if its userspace tho, it was working back in time
<aka_[m]> was using pmos edge
<aka_[m]> (alpine)
<aka_[m]> vkoul: Any idea if this will be picked for next?
<aka_[m]> You are maintainer of that driver i assume
<aka_[m]> https://lists.sr.ht/~postmarketos/upstreaming/patches/34692#%3C20220815100952.23795-3-a39.skl@gmail.com%3E
<vkoul> yes, I am... possible later this week or next week
<aka_[m]> Thanks.
<vkoul> Btw it is always advised to sent things which are not dependent on each other separately to subsystems... this series has no relation w/ dma, mmc, copu freq, iommus bits... they could have gone as different series one per subsystem
<vkoul> help the maintainer to help you!
<aka_[m]> so instead of multiple patch series just send 2 patches in one series?
<aka_[m]> i will take a note then, thanks again.
<aka_[m]> bamse:
<aka_[m]> will i need to send v3 with different email or is it safe to leave it this way?
<aka_[m]> ah
<aka_[m]> wait
<aka_[m]> just noticed
<aka_[m]> will resend later
<aka_[m]> also it was quite based on QCM2290 so "mistakes" there are also part of dispcc-qcm2290.c
<vkoul> if you have updates, feel free to send update, otherwise i will look at it later this week

<aka_[m]> ok, i slowly get how this index stuff will work.
<aka_[m]> Will older drivers also need to be reworked or they will be left?
<aka_[m]> once again or delay it till 6.1 is released?
<lumag> aka_[m], I hope to resend it if I have time

<bamse> aka_[m]: might be that you figured it out, but andersson@kernel.org will do the trick
<bamse> aka_[m]: but as long as you cc linux-arm-msm@vger.kernel.org, it will show up in my inbox
<aka_[m]> bamse: I still have to resend it with index rework, so I can add proper mail next time
