<ungeskriptet> HappY[m]: You can try enabling serial gadget and get dmesg that way
<ungeskriptet> This might be a question for #postmarketos-mainline though
<HappY[m]> <ungeskriptet> "This might be a question for #..." <- Thank you for your help..
<HappY[m]> Already enabled but Kernel cmd lines is missing has only console ttymsm ..
<HappY[m]> Just need to know my device not staying on boot , device rebooting randomly.. how could I access dmesg log in this situation?
<ungeskriptet> Pstore?

<HappY[m]> <ungeskriptet> "Pstore?" <- I don't have access boot_b from recovery
<HappY[m]> Pstore log available only for boot_a which has Android os..
<HappY[m]> Actually Maine problem is newer device recovery installed inside boot partition recovery-ramdisk so when I am flashing mainline boot img recovery-ramdisk going to erase..

<ungeskriptet> But pstore is being stored in a region inside the memory? Or is this some kind of thing now on sm8350?
junari_ is now known as junari
<HappY[m]> <ungeskriptet> "But pstore is being stored in..." <- I seriously don't know.. I only can find pstore log for my stock Android kernel..
<HappY[m]> And even every thing is stock Android related inside /dev /proc /sys
<ungeskriptet> HappY[m]: Did you add ramoops and pstore mem region to your mainline dts?
<vknecht[m]> if your lkn2d has support for fsboot feature (that is, able to scan rootfs for a boot img), you could skip flashing pmOS boot img to boot partition ; but not sure how this feature works with a/b devices

<HappY[m]> <ungeskriptet> "HappY: Did you add ramoops and..." <- Yes I have already..
<HappY[m]> <vknecht[m]> "if your lkn2d has support for..." <- I don't have support lk2nd .. but I had "lk_version=V1.0" inbuilt support..
<vknecht[m]> ah, was fooled by the screenshot, looked like lk2nd ;-)
<minecrell> vknecht[m]: this is because the old lk2nd branch just uses Qualcomm's LK fastboot menu that they also ported to the new UEFI targets
