<cheetahpixie> just realized a set of messages from me yesterday didn't send because I wasn't identified. whoops.
<cheetahpixie> so, I had a question which I'll just repeat it.
<cheetahpixie> going through the drivers section that is supposedly work in progress according to the mainlining effort page, some of these are incredibly old.
<cheetahpixie> there are also dead links in here.
<cheetahpixie> are those *actually* wip, or what's up?
<cheetahpixie> if not outdated info, that is.

<apritzel> cheetahpixie: I am afraid this would need to be researched by someone, on a case-by-case base, so thanks for volunteering! ;-)

<apritzel> and yes, many things are not up-to-date or imprecise in this matrix, so any contributions are very welcome
<montjoie> cheetahpixie: some WIP could be very long, for example some part of cryptoIP is still WIP since 6 years...
<rubberduck> I'm not sure if i should do the work in the wiki for installing debian in the most recent way as i need to move around other articles for that...#
<apritzel> rubberduck: the Wiki contains A LOT of old stuff, so any updates are much appreciated
<apritzel> (read: yes, please go ahead!)
<rubberduck> apritzel: indeed
<rubberduck> but i don't like to do all the work alone.
<rubberduck> because: "it works fine for me"

<apritzel> smaeul: do you plan on having a <asm/arch/cpu.h> for the D1 U-Boot port? For the ARM parts they contain MMIO base addresses for the peripherals, to be used in the SPL
<apritzel> I have patches to remove the inclusion from generic sunxi drivers, for the sake of simplifying the D1 port, but was wondering whether you actually need that
