junari: H6 DRAM driver supports 1.5 GiB RAM and it was a base for H616 too, so in theory it should work

there is some flag in vendor DRAM settings, which tells to adjust RAM size

Hello everyone, I found that PINE A64-LTS V2, with Samsung DRAMs, u-boot 2022.07 can't init DRAM. But u-boot 2022.10 can boot just fine. Was there some improvement or change in u-boot ?

i don't know about that board specifically, but i think i tested pine64+ and pinebook on most of those versions without issues

could also just be happy the newer version is the one that is working

u-boot 2023.01 is also out ... might want to make sure it still works :)

jernej: I can't bisect, as I don't have problematic board :( I'm happy that the person which had issue, bought Serial adaptor, and gave me information I needed.

Anyway, the u-boot v20202.10 works OK, so I guess it will work also in newer images.
