<gamiee> apritzel: correct. My V2 have SKhynix DRAMs, and the other person, have V2 with Samsung DRAMs

<apritzel> gamiee: I see, the picture on the Pine64 wiki page seems to suggest SKHynix as well
<apritzel> gamiee: so do I get this correctly that U-Boot 2022.07 on a Pine64-LTS V2 with SKHynix works, but the same binary fails on the model with Samsung DRAMs?
<apritzel> and that both magically work with U-Boot 2022.10?

<gamiee> @apritzel: correct
<apritzel> that's odd, because we didn't do any changes to the A64 DRAM code in the last year (even longer, I think)
<apritzel> gamiee: is it still LPDDR3 DRAM? Do you have a name?
<gamiee> v2022.07 armbian build doesn't work with samsung DRAM, but my fresh v2022.10 works nice, so maybe Armbian have some weird patch? And moment
<apritzel> so that Samsung chip is exactly the same that I have on my old Pine64-LTS (V1_1 from 2017)
<gamiee> oh, interesting, hmmm
<apritzel> gamiee: can you give the name of your SKHynix chip?
<apritzel> gamiee: is yours (the SK Hynix) 1GB only?
<gamiee> apritzel: it is 2GB as far as I know. I didn't heard that 1GB PINE A64s are being made
<jakllsch> at least, not LTSes
<jakllsch> there was the A64 and A64+ boards in 512/1024/2048 configs
<gamiee> yeah, I meant, currently I don't heard about it.
<apritzel> nevermind, it's really a "B" in the name, not an "8". The H9CCNNN8LTALAR is a 8GBit part, the H9CCNNNBLTALAR the 16GBit version
<gamiee> yea correct
<apritzel> and 2022.07 boots just fine on my LTS with Samsung DRAMs
<gamiee> well, then it is something in Armbian I suppose
<gamiee> thanks for the test @apritzel
