<M0xCAFEBABE[m]> <barni2000[m]> "i have enabled camss and cherry..." <- idk, i've never tried to bringup camera for mainline yet and don't know how to find it in downstream
<barni2000[m]> <M0xCAFEBABE[m]> "idk, i've never tried to bringup..." <- Maybe if the camera susbsytem compiled as debug, idk. It is so annoying same sensor has 3 different i2c address and i2cdetect not helps.
<barni2000[m]> I could enable camera on mido before, and it also works on markw (even front camera works). https://github.com/msm8953-mainline/linux/pull/148
<jojo_autoboy[m]> wh
<jojo_autoboy[m]> how much are the cameras able to function in mainline?
<barni2000[m]> if you have sensor driver they are works you can capture some picture, the limitation is megapixels atm
<barni2000[m]> and focus
<barni2000[m]> in general front camera's has fixed focus so not a problem there
<barni2000[m]> the main issue is find out the i2c address ov5675 works on vince but not works on daisy because the same sensor have different i2c address
<barni2000[m]> * i2c address, ov5675
<barni2000[m]> xiaomi-scorpio has actuator and sensor driver
