<robimarko> Mangix: You are right regarding the Libs.private
<robimarko> And e2fsprogs
<robimarko> Once --static is passed via pkg-config, it should return -lpthread -luuid instead of just -luuid
<nbd> robimarko: i'm almost done updating the mac80211 package to 6.11
<robimarko> nbd: That is great
<nbd> when i'm done, could you please give it a round of testing on qualcomm stuff?
<robimarko> Sure, I can deploy it on my home AP

<nbd> robimarko: thx. will backport that one
<nbd> hm, backport seems non-trivial when iommu support is enabled
<nbd> will add a revert patch for the commit that switched to iommu_paging_domain_alloc
<robimarko> That works as well, ath10k also needs to be reverted
<nbd> right
<nbd> will take care of it
<nbd> just in case, i'll take another look to see if a trivial backport is possible after all

<aparcar[m]> efahl: hello. Do you think we should add stats for the build times of ASU?
<aparcar[m]> I'd be curious to have stats, a user could also get an estimate how long they'd need to wait
<efahl> That might be interesting. Did you see my post on the dmux PR?
<efahl> Add wall times, total package count, maybe platform?
skynet2 has quit []
<efahl> Also, how does the production server get deployed? The __version__ is always 0.0.0, so it looks like it's skipping the "sed" in publish.yml...
skynet2 has joined #openwrt-devel
<aparcar[m]> uhm yea version is only set for releases
<aparcar[m]> since it needs to be semantic
<efahl> Ok, could we fake it by just adding the hash to the end, like '0.0.0~76bc2d03', so we can at least trace back?
<efahl> I don't know about anyone else, but that would certainly be good enough for me...
<aparcar[m]> sure fine with me
<aparcar[m]> or we do releases again 😄
<aparcar[m]> efahl: there exists stuff like this but i'm not sure if we want to go down that road https://gitlab.com/rocshers/python/poetry-git-version-plugin
<efahl> Yeah, looks like a lot of work. I tried this in Containerfile: echo "__version__ = \"0.0.0~$(git rev-parse --short HEAD)\""
<efahl> Failed because no git in containers... Blah.

<ryanrsrs> I have been seeind the same firmware selector problem all afternoon (comes up in Arabic, no devices, no versions, just empty UI widgets). Both Safari and Chrome.
<ryanrsrs> I assumed it was busted for everyone and "someone" was gonna fix it and it's be back later...
<ryanrsrs> ha ha, it must be a cookie issue or similar, because it works in both browsers in incognito mode.
<efahl> Sounds like the same issue I saw earlier, didn't work in firefox after cold restart, but worked in chrome.
<efahl> Yeah, clear cookies and cache, looks fine for me now.
<ryanrsrs> yeah, I cleared Safari cookies for openwrt.org and now it's fine
<efahl> I'll put a pre-emptive warning on the forum, just in case...
