<tobhe[m]> I wonder if building it on Asahi defaults to build host page size or sth like that. That used to be the case in a lot of the tools that had problems with a 16k kernel
<tobhe[m]> also seems to be broken on other arm64 machines
<tobhe[m]> ok, I managed to fix it with DEB_BUILD_MAINT_OPTIONS = hardening=-all
<tobhe[m]> but we don't want that. Will need to figure out which of the hardening options is responsible. I suspect branch prototection
<tobhe[m]> yess, DEB_BUILD_MAINT_OPTIONS = hardening=+all,-branch works too

<nukelet> will keep an eye out for the next tag with the fix
<john-cabaj[m]> Let's also check here - https://gitlab.com/fedora-asahi/kernel-asahi for new tags.
<john-cabaj[m]> The tip should reference the asahi tag. I doubt they'll ever give Fedora a bit intermediate tag, so we're more likely to avoid the situation from last time.
<john-cabaj[m]> s/bit/bad/
<nukelet> very fair point, hadn't thought of that
