ChanServ changed the topic of #aarch64-laptops to: Linux support for AArch64 Laptops (Asus NovaGo TP370QL - HP Envy x2 - Lenovo Mixx 630 - Lenovo Yoga C630)
<Dylanger>
Anyone know if there are any new QC 7c Gen 3 Chromebooks on the market yet?
<HdkR>
Nothing yet as far as I'm aware
<amstan>
Dylanger: nope
<amstan>
Dylanger: if/when some appear i could let you know
<Dylanger>
I'm looking forward to a more beefcake'd up Chromebook
<amstan>
or.. you know chromeunboxed, lol
<robclark>
or.. watch upstream.. I expect we'll manage to continue the upstream-support-first with whatever future devices
<robclark>
(CU would do well to learn how to read dt)

robclark: so the transition delay patch didn't help on the c630. it crapped out again twice this weekend (but that way, I can justify being slow on the patch reviewing front!).

maz: fwiw, i can't reproduce here, but maybe we use the c630 differently; mine is connected to mains and not suspending
<steev>
i mean, not reliably reproduce
<maz>
steev: yeah, I suspend the laptop pretty often (this is a "hack on the sofa" machine). and so far, I can't tell what triggers it.
<steev>
i think i discussed it a while back with abnihav and lumag in either #freedreno or #linux-msm (more likely freedreno) and abnhiav had some ideas (i may be butchering his nic)
<steev>
it used to manifest as a blue screen
<maz>
how appropriate on a WoA machine! ;-)
<steev>
indeed :D
<steev>
maz: looks like, if we have logs on white quark, we were talking about it in 2021-07 (5.13-ish range is when it started) - then there's a lot of back and forth because i don't know what i'm doing, and other misc stuff
