Damn, grub is crazy; there are more than 100 patches difference between Ubuntu and OpenSuse

flowriser: There were upstream issues for a while, I gather it's getting better but there's a lot to unpick. :/

I was trying to pinpoint exactly what combination of patches from OpenSuse make grub work on the acer spin 7 and other devices

But its way too crazy for me to try that so I'll just pin the last patch and hope it continues to work
