ok, the difference between unstable and testing is that I want to test the stuff by myself (unstable) and give the packages to testing for you - so that you do not need to struggle if something crashes. Testing is about an hour behind 😉
<dererk>
Hahahaha awesome testing cycle my dude!
<dererk>
shortest ever hahah
<cy8aer>
If it works it works - but for me.
<dererk>
heheh
<cy8aer>
Ok, you are using kde. That is plasma 5 I guess?
<dererk>
maybe I'm missing some component to be upgraded ?
<dererk>
5.27.11-1 it seems, yes
<dererk>
can we have a quick check of the packages that are needed to be upgraded together, just in case I've missed something?
<dererk>
I remember, not sure if that stills being true, that there were certain packages that required to go by hand in versions with others
<cy8aer>
hm, all packages depend on linux-image-asahi. Except mesa, and the widevine installer. Let me prepare a package list. Just a moment.
<cy8aer>
I'll ask the #debian-bananas people if they are playing around with kwin...
<cy8aer>
jannau the efforts on kwin in fedora were on plasma6 kwin?
<jannau>
kwin 6 is/will not be affected by this
<cy8aer>
In the bug report it is the change from libwayland 1.22.0 (testing) -> 1.23 (unstable). I am running 1.22.0 with gnome so for testing I am somehow out.

<dererk>
back, on effect, downgrading the wayland clients to 1.22 "fixed" the issue, specifically this components, leaving it here just in case it helps anyone else: libwayland-client0:arm64=1.22.0-2.1+b1 libwayland-cursor0:arm64=1.22.0-2.1+b1 libwayland-egl1:arm64=1.22.0-2.1+b1 libwayland-server0:arm64=1.22.0-2.1+b1
<dererk>
it was easy enough since those versions are still on testing, so enabling testing Debian repos and forcing those versions on those specific packages was trivial
<dererk>
as always, many thanks cy8aer! and jannau ! =)
<cy8aer>
I posted a hint to the bug report refering to the shm version 2 stuff.

hi everyone :) idk how but seems like my webcam is broken now. i did not upgrade my system for a while and just handled all the new stuff except 21 profile and missing webcam
<zerdox>
dmesg reporting about missing camera. thought i didn't change any kernel options, just migrated my old config
<zerdox>
could someone please check it? any ideas? https://0x0.st/XpyE.txt upgraded as usual. fwupdate + m1n1
<zerdox>
oh and yes that's dmesg from my prev. kernel. i decided to check it in case cam works here, but no, guess kernel is not a cause
<zerdox>
hmm actually i guess i might know the reason. while upgrading i tried to install dist kernel (unsucceeded, lol). it's still hanging in my grub. maybe because i emerged it, it did something with dtbs or some other files. i'll try to cleanup, recompile and reinstall modules. i don't know what else might be the reason
