<marcan> sven: yes, and also, that's broken, try this: https://mrcn.st/p/4aF1ut5h
<marcan> the "Inline payload" should start with xcpi or 00 00 00 00 xcpi if I'm not wrong
<marcan> er sorry, 16 bytes before xcpi
<marcan> you actually have it backwards, that's a prior notification ACK and a new notification
<jannau> marcan: the time since end of june for t6000-dart was my fault. I was very indecisive on which of Robin's review comments I wanted to address
<jannau> will send the next interation in a moment
<marcan> thanks! :)

<jannau> does someone understand how the dts validation for "msi-ranges" for PCIe is supposed to work? it fails for t8102 and t600x. error could be that it just expects a single value for "intspec" instead of 3 or 4 as the #interrupt-cells specify
<kettenis> I doubt validation for that property works

<robher> jannau: Do you have more detail?
<robher> It is probably going to need custom decoding (in https://github.com/devicetree-org/dt-schema/blob/main/dtschema/dtb.py) given it's kind of special.
<robher> But I'd expect it to be fine until maxItems is > 1.
<jannau> robher: arch/arm64/boot/dts/apple/t6000-j316s.dtb: pcie@590000000: msi-ranges: [[1], [0], [0]] is too long
<jannau> and "arch/arm64/boot/dts/apple/t8103-j274.dtb: pcie@690000000: msi-ranges: [[1], [0]] is too long"
leitao has quit [Quit: My MacBook has gone to sleep. ZZZzzz…]
<robher> jannau: humm, definitely something weird happening there. Will investigate.
<jannau> thanks. note that t6000-j316s.dts is not in upstream. I'm preparing it for sending it out
<robher> There is also this one: interrupt-controller@23b100000: affinities:p-core-pmu-affinity: 'fiq-index' is a required property
<robher> Hopefully someone will fix to keep apple platforms warning free.
<jannau> I have a fix for that
<robher> Great!
<rmk> loads of comments from Andy Shevchenko on the gpio driver...

<rmk> marcan: any chance you could reply to Rob on my dt binding doc? He asks "How confident are the asahi folks that this is a complete binding?"
