<imirkin>
is the fd.o CI overloaded? seeing lots of paused jobs, none starting
<anholt_>
70 running jobs across all runners right now
<daniels>
imirkin: it's traditionally heavier at exactly this time, as north America tries to push things before Friday lunch, and Europe scrambles to get it all out before Friday evening
<daniels>
there's a ~5min wait which appears to be what your jobs are seeing, but nothing catastrophic, and it's not building up faster than it's being cleared
<imirkin>
i see. is there an easy way for me to see the more global view, to distinguish between "lots of CI stuff" and "CI is broken"?
<daniels>
afraid not
<imirkin>
ok. expect to get pings ever so often then ;)
<daniels>
sure, though in general we don't consider ~5min wait catastrophic, since making sure we never hit that would require pretty vast overprovisioning
<daniels>
if you see >= 15min blockage tho ...
<imirkin>
daniels: yeah, i just saw all the jobs as pending, which i think i've only ever seen in a catastrophic situation before
