dj-death, MrCooper: Sorry, no experience about that here, but ci-templates has not been designed for ease of reproduction outside of gitlab, unfortunately

IIRC, the recommended solution presented to me was "push to a branch and let CI build the container for you"

that being said, if you are dedicated-enough, you can re-do everything by hand. I wish you good luck though as the amount of variables passed around is mind-melting
