<tomeu>
daniels: that job has crashes due to an unrelated regression in venus, before we can address that we need to solve the problem with the runners
<tomeu>
anholt: well, maybe you know of any difference between runners #1, #2 and #3 that would be causing problems in #1 and #3?
<tomeu>
or maybe they need a reboot?
<tomeu>
or maybe there is some kind of resource exhaustion in #1 and #3?
<tomeu>
eric_engestrom: oh, I wasn't expecting you to run it like that
<tomeu>
I'm not sure what you are after, but the script is small, maybe look at what it does and figure out how it can help you?
<tomeu>
TBH, I don't run it manually at all, just get emails
<gallo[m]>
eric_engestrom: You should stick with the version from requirements.txt. The most recent python-gitlab dependency is not supported yet. Try the following: https://pst.klgrth.io/paste/bufr4
<gallo[m]>
eric_engestrom: btw, I already started to backport to Amber as well. But the latter has an outdated CI, requiring essential updates, such as exporting JWT data to a file to avoid breaching it in job traces.
<gallo[m]>
I was discussing with tomeu and daniels if we need to upload artifacts for Amber pipelines. Would just building Mesa be enough for this branch?

gallo[m]: I would say you can drop all test jobs, as none tests any driver in amber
<eric_engestrom>
gallo[m]: I was using my distro's python packages since I already had everything there, but I made a venv to get these exact versions and it worked on the first try; awesome job :D
<eric_engestrom>
I'll add a `--stage` filter for the stuff I care about and post an MR once it's working the way I want :)
<eric_engestrom>
as for amber, I really don't want to become its maintainer, and I don't know who made the decision to make that amber branch but I guess ask them?
<daniels>
MrCooper: it ignores anything which has labels set, and anholt already set labels when creating it
<MrCooper>
gotcha
<MrCooper>
is there a reason for not adding labels even if there are some already?
<daniels>
yeah, the thinking is that if someone's adding their own labels, then they know what they're doing and there's no reason for a bot to second-guess them
<MrCooper>
what if they just want to set a label not directly related to the code changes, e.g. "regression"?
* daniels
shrugs
<MrCooper>
(maybe not a great example for an MR :)

DavidHeidelberg[m]: your script is amazing, it's saving so much manual effort!
<eric_engestrom>
(I mean, for one run it's easier to just click in the web UI, but `--stress` is a life saver)
<eric_engestrom>
thanks a lot for writing it :D
<DavidHeidelberg[m]>
eric_engestrom: happy to hear that, also have to share credit with the creator and co-author tomeu :D

eric_engestrom: Oh, I will take a look. In my previous pipelines, I got another error related to debian servers connectivity, so it was not my fault. But this new one seems like the image name needs to be shorter. Thanks for the ping on this.
