<bentiss>
I still have one or 2 users of harbor.fd.o/fdo/ci-templates as I must have had it written in the templates at some point, but I put a new ingress for it pointing at the main registry, so we should be safe
<mupuf>
How many machines do we still have in the old cluster?
<mupuf>
Right, that's to be expected. Heck, our farms still have a caching proxy to it. I'll remove it
<bentiss>
mupuf: still 6 machines oin the old cluster, and coincidentally, equinix pinged me yesterday about them
<bentiss>
just after I migrated the last services :)
<mupuf>
Ha ha, great timing!

it's with a little bit of sadness that I announce that I am releasing the machines from the old cluster except for one. Let's hope it won't backfire
<mupuf>
bentiss: let's cross fingers, but the new cluster has been feeling fine AFAICT
<mupuf>
is the last machine the one that has the ocntrol plane?
<bentiss>
mupuf: I've killed the cluster and kept only one machine with an haproxy to do a simple redirect for the DNS entries that haven't been updated
<mupuf>
I see
<bentiss>
but I need the machine to be in that datacenter so I can use the elastic IP
<mupuf>
:)
<mupuf>
so, another 48h and bye bye?
<bentiss>
well, last time networkmanagerdev took its time to be migrated. Thanks heavy Red Hat processes for that
<bentiss>
but yeah, should be better for equinix in the end

\o/ haproxy is correctly set up for the redirects now :)

Alright, old cluster is gone and equinix notified. That was a way more heavy migration than expected. But we now have IPv6 :) (and a better cluster IMO)
<karolherbst>
nice
<karolherbst>
btw.. could that have impacted CI runners doing gitlab pages stuff? I have a job here waiting for 16 minutes already
<karolherbst>
nvm.. it started now
<bentiss>
yeah, over the past weeks I also found out that gitlab probably changed the way it distributes jobs, and that when a pipeline starts, it gets all of the available slots. Meaning that when someone has 10 jobs of 20 minutes, no other pipeline can pass during those 20 minutes

bentiss, whot, daniels: do you know if there is some funky redirection stuff set up on the nouveau wiki? I know that _something_ redirects from wiki/ to / but there is more funky stuff going on like https://nouveau.freedesktop.org/CodeNames.html/
<karolherbst>
and the slash at the end just makes it mess up
<karolherbst>
https://nouveau.freedesktop.org/CodeNames/ gets the browser to open index.html if it exists, but if not (as I want to use _redirects for it) it behaves the same as CodeNames.html/
<bentiss>
it would be nice if we could add those redirects directly in pages, so we don't have to have them on nginx
<bentiss>
so... thanks in advance!

<karolherbst>
bentiss: is the `default "";` causing that weird behavior with `.../` links?
<karolherbst>
but yeah.. I can do the wiki thing as well
<karolherbst>
bentiss: so yeah.. I think I'd like to get rid of the default thing first and make sure it all works, adding the wiki redirects is like one line
<karolherbst>
so yeah... maybe remove the entire thing for now and I'll make it work
<karolherbst>
as _redirects does work, I'm just fighting with that rule
<karolherbst>
bentiss: anwyay, should I jsut make an MR against the help repo or will you do it? I don't mind if the links are messed up for a few hours though
