Wasn't xp just a speedbin for x? and I guess their actual issue is that someone has to write a dts for their dell device...

lumag: I tested the pd-mapper v2 patches on sm8550. It doesn't seem to work :(
<strongtz[m]>
Battery doesn't show up, and type-c usb mode switch seems not working

everything starts working though after I started the old userspace daemon

p is "no modem"
<travmurav[m]>

<travmurav[m]>
my 7180 is not p but there is definitely no modem xD
<konradybcio>
7c2 is still 7180 i think, just different fusing
<travmurav[m]>

<konradybcio>

krzk, narmstrong: I'm going through the pull requests now, and see that you did a lot of nice work on improving PCIe MSI, but I'm confused about why you only use the gic-its on sm8550 and sm8650 while all the others still use the inferior builtin MSI
<arnd>
shouldn't at least x1e80100 have a working GIC?
<narmstrong>
arnd: yes it has and AFAIK patches are coming to enable ITS on all the other platforms aswell, including x1
