apritze: Yes, it is especially good when there is a electrical circuit diagram for the device
<junari>
I'm still deciding what to get - Avaota, TVBox or Tablet. The tablet is the most interesting device, but also the most difficult to support. TVBox has the lowest price. Avaota or the not yet announced orangepi have open circuits and source codes
<gamiee>
junari: are you interested in Avaota A1?

I've got the Avaota as well, got about as far as FEL mode ;)

Not getting very far with the jack detection for the RG35XX, is it better asking for help on the linux-alsa list?

junari: the tablet is a pain to work with. It's some kind of secure boot, and I didn't dare to open it, so was only using UART via the SD card breakout.
<apritzel>
so after gamiee's generous offer I just paused working on the A523, and progress is now so much faster with a FEL button, normal boot and normal serial on the dev board
<apritzel>
I guess the TV box is also quite usable, since it's typically normal boot and you have serial pads. Just no schematics, but you can figure most stuff out by poking around in the booted BSP kernel
<apritzel>
Aliexpress has a few T527 dev boards, but they are more expensive
<apritzel>
the SPL is booting now, just no DRAM, of course, so I am checking if I can talk boot0 into dropping into FEL after DRAM init or something

If I have a fixed supply to an SD card is this the proper way to set it up? I'm getting "no support for card's volts" https://pastebin.com/raw/irwMB1UY
