14:07 <PaulFertser> raenye: rebasing is needed if your code can't be cherry-picked anymore. In any case your branch should be just one commit on top of some commit present in upstream master.

14:08 <PaulFertser> And if that single commit can't be cherry-picked on current master tip, then you need to rebase it. If not, it's ok to not rebase it. Merging shouldn't be used in any case.
