<tobhe[m]>
i think non of the issues we have seen so far is bad enough not to roll it out
<tobhe[m]>
so I will probably publish
<tobhe[m]>
the packages from testing to the regular ppa later

Hi, does changing screen brightness still work for you with kernel 6.6.0-1003-apple-arm? In Gnome, brightness control via F1/F2 buttons used to work before.
<john-cabaj[m]>
The 6.6.0-1003 still works to adjust the brightness using F1 and F2. I've only updated the kernel, and am otherwise still on Mantic Ubuntu Asahi

OK, I fugured it out: speaker support and brightness control required to run "update-m1n1".
<kaazoo>
s/fug/fig
<kaazoo>
because there were changes in the device tree files included in the new kernel
<tobhe[m]>
oh hm
<tobhe[m]>
we should trigger that on update of the meta package then
<kaazoo>
I had an error during kernel package installation, because dmks package of evdi (for displaylink) doesn't support kernel 6.6 yet. Maybe that's why update-m1n1 got skipped.
<kaazoo>
The kernel package installation should trigger update-m1n1 already, right?
