hi, is there a solution to firefox being blurry under wayland with scaling enabled?
tobhe[m] has joined #ubuntu-asahi
<
tobhe[m]>
yes, you can force firefox to use wayland
<
tobhe[m]>
MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1
<
tobhe[m]>
blur comes from xwayland
<
mkukri>
ah great, that just worked, thanks

i think i see now why wayland isnt the default. context menus are glitchy and the thing crashes pretty often
<
mkukri>
chromium with wayland enabled in about:flags seems to work pretty well tho
<
tobhe[m]>
idk, wayland works fine for me
<
tobhe[m]>
xwayland scaling in gnome is a little annoying
<
tobhe[m]>
but most things I use are actually native
<
mkukri>
maybe it is me being on 175%
<
mkukri>
it's only firefox's right click context menus being cut off a bit, otherwise most other things have been decent
<
mkukri>
overall experience is pretty good tho
