<russell--> looking for advice, i have an m1 macbook air arriving next week, that i'd like to try out asahi on. i'm a .deb kind of person, never did .rpm much. is ubuntu-asahi "usable" or should i stick to the fedora-based version for better usability?
<tobhe[m]> I am using it as a daily driver so I'd say it is usable. We are usually following upstream closely to the shouldn't be a lot of feature disparity
<tobhe[m]> sometimes it takes us a few weeks to catch up whenever the fedora asahi team announces big new features such as the latest gaming/amd64 emulation news
<GarethWoolridge[m]> <tobhe[m]> "Gareth Woolridge: updated a..." <- Oh cool. I’ll keep an eye out for progress but no rush from my side. Appreciate all your efforts!!

<kaazoo> Hi, I'm using Ubuntu Asahi as the only machine for both work and private stuff since April 2023. Before that I was running Ubuntu on a Intel based Mac Book Pro ;)
