<esz> "Do you think reusing their build..." <- maybe, we can also copy packaged between ppas if we need to
<
tobhe[m]>
generally speaking I think we should be pragmatic and get something working first and then we can always clean up later
<
tobhe[m]>
<kaazoo> "I installed libkrunfw, libkrun..." <- luckily in Ubuntu we can just bundle dependencies, that makes rust packaging a lot easiet

Anyone try KVM with asahi or have a guide for it? Managed w proxmox ?
<
tobhe[m]>
i normally use lxd vms but it should work just like on any other platform with proxmox
<
coffeejack[m]>
I was aiming for type 1 not type 2
<
coffeejack[m]>
Trying to get a bit more performance and possibly use in production
<
coffeejack[m]>
Otherwise I’d just use UTM (qemu)
<
tobhe[m]>
lxd using kvm under the hood i meant
<
tobhe[m]>
I'd expect proxmox to just work too
<
coffeejack[m]>
Any guide you suggest or GH repo/gist for that @tobhe?
<
coffeejack[m]>
That’s an interesting approach
<
coffeejack[m]>
How did you setup kvm / type 1 support tobhe
<
tobhe[m]>
I don't think you need any additional setup
<
coffeejack[m]>
Basically I’m looking at racking up 2-6 M1 mini pros in a half cab
<

Libreboot/coreboot stuff is a configuration nightmare
<
tobhe[m]>
yeah unfortunately there isn't an easier way to set up disk encryption yet
<
coffeejack[m]>
And all the devices supported that have Intel ME disabled are trash
<
coffeejack[m]>
And all super micro servers are equally time intensive
<
coffeejack[m]>
Base M2 no bueno
