I've tried to follow the comments and update the description accordingly.

hmm, but we have minor changed, so v4 is not final. Then again, the changes are minor.

ofourdan: the crash relates to Xwayland, and therefore it involves the entire running VM, which crashes as well;
<fabcal>
the crash occurs every time
<user21>
hello, I need to query from C or Go or bash: 1) the current screen resolution. 2) capture screen with mouse in it. 3) capture screen and mouse separately if 2 not possible
<user21>
any direction where to dig that info ?

You’re hitting an assert in the nouveau userspace driver
<MrCooper>
yeah, that's a Mesa nouveau driver issue
<fabcal>
kennylevinsen, MrCooper, I assume U R replying to my note, aren't U?
<fabcal>
kennylevinsen, MrCooper, if this is the case, what do U suggest? What am I doing wrong?
<kennylevinsen>
make sure you’re on latest mesa, check mesa issues, file a bug
<fabcal>
is this the one U R talking about? libwayland-egl1-mesa/stable 22.3.6-1+deb12u1 amd64

I have a kobo libra colour, that I'm trying to make work as a libinput, over netevent(https://github.com/Blub/netevent), but I belive that the OEM kernel driver doesn't actually produce input events correctly. I'm looking for an example event recording from a similar device to base my work on.

I need something with support for a stylus with pressure and tilt + simultaneous multitouch with a finger and stylus. Is anyone aware of a device like this?
