Hi!
<Umeaboy>
My name's Kristoffer and I'm a Mandriva/Mageia user since 2006. I plan to port Mageia to M1 and M2 devices, but my knowledge to doing so is limited. Not now, but I have plans to start my own business within a half a year dedicated to open source stuff. I ask for help to make the cdn work. I plan to use jsdelivr on github.
<tpw_rules>
um this looks a lot like the asahi linux installer with asahi replaced with mageia in the readme license
<tpw_rules>
would strongly recommend sticking with the official asahi linux installer and porting the mageia installer to a USB boot solution
<Umeaboy>
tpw_rules: Yes it is. Hence the "Fork of the AsahiLinux installer to port Mageia to M1 and M2" description. :)
<Umeaboy>
Is that how AsahiLinux did it?
<Umeaboy>
Using USB?
<Umeaboy>
Sorry if I seem dumb, but I was taught to ask to know more.
<Umeaboy>
Mageia have unofficial aarch64 images that soon will be released to the public, but I have no idea if M1 and M2 support is added to the images.
<qyliss>
you probably do not need to fork the installer
<tpw_rules>
the asahi linux installer has the ability to install a standard UEFI boot environment with no distro. then the user can download a Mageia ISO or whatever with the Asahi Linux kernel and install manually
