<pulpy_orange2[m]> I'm new to open source and it kinda feels weird, you guys putting lots effort to develop linux for M1 Chips,
<pulpy_orange2[m]> And then someone just copy and paste it in their linux version(Distro) coz its open source.
<psykose> what do you mean?
<pulpy_orange2[m]> psykose: I mean, you guys are doing great work.
<pulpy_orange2[m]> Ignore me.
<psykose> pretty sure the point is to upstream the support so distros can just use it, as most things in open source are intended to be
<psykose> nothing weird looking

<jn> pulpy_orange2[m]: the goal is to build commons, things that are for everyone
<jn> marcan et al. will still get the fame of having done all this work :)
<sven> jannau: should I keep your tested-by for watchdog v2?
<_jannau_> sven: any changes not yet pushed to watchdog/v2? I'm testing that branch and still have not seen any issues
<sven> don't think so, but let me double check
<sven> i can also just cc you otherwise and you can just reply to the ML again
<_jannau_> send it. I'll reply once I checked if it is identical to what I'm using all along or test it again

<sven> jannau: thanks for testing!
<jannau> np, only difference to watchdog/v2 was the default timeout value
<sven> ahhh… I remember now. I felt a bit silly to not just set it to 30s when we know that value is always going to be correct
<sven> and I think checkpatch also complained about min_t vs. min or something like that
