the firmware's palm rejection works pretty well, i think its trying to be too clever about the users intentions tho

plasma has an option for that but it also applies to fullscreen apps so it kind of hinders gaming with the touchpad

I think I activated tap to click because 3 finger middle clicks were either not working or kde's systemsettings suggest you have enable to to click for it

I had to enable tap-to-click on macos on old m1 because click physically doesn't work

I think systemsettings is misleading, it greys out that option but the default is two finger right three finger middle for press to click

and from what I can tell that setting affects *only* tap to click
