23:05 <M12destroyer21[m]> matthewayers[m]: I have used this before https://github.com/leifliddy/macbook12-audio-driver , although it has a problem where the audio stops working everytime you close the lid, a restart fixed it for me. Also i had to mess around with pulse configs, because the left and right audio channels where switched around. It also doens't work very well with headphones, since you have to run a script to swap out kernel modules, which sometimes

23:05 <M12destroyer21[m]> kills the audio completely on both the headphones and the speakers, requiring a restart. I also ran a rolling release distro, which meant that i had to reinstall the driver on every kernel update. Other than that the driver worked fine.
