Glanzmann: the kmutil in the main volume of macos 11.x can install m1n1.macho as custom boot object via `kmutil configure-boot -c m1n1.macho -v $VOLUME` even if the system recovery is 12.1/12.2

thinking of the mini hdmi problem, can you mix coprocessor firmwares from different macos versions?

it's not a problem to make the timeouts a little more conservative. under normal conditions wait condition will be signalled much faster anyway and the increased timeouts help with probing under tracing/hv
