mupuf, you yesterday asks about a plan. I've search for some list I've made some time a go and I've posted as a reminder in an issue (https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/gfx-ci/ci-uprev/-/issues/18). It's simply listing manual uprevs that I've seen that someday can be integrated in the ci-uprev tool helping the developers to dedicate the time to more
<sergi>
interesting things than one that can be procedured
<mupuf>
sergi: thanks for the link. I was more interested in the testing strategy of ci-uprev

loves tooling, and dedicates an enormous portion of his work time on it. Hence why he is curious :D

<DavidHeidelberg[m]>
I doubt this issue is caused by length of url.
<bentiss>
DavidHeidelberg[m]: IIRC you could not use what you want as a tag. It's worth checking what max length is authorized
<mupuf>
ROFL :D
<DavidHeidelberg[m]>
bentiss: maybe the dots inside?
<bentiss>
DavidHeidelberg[m]: that's what I thought initially, but I am pretty sure we use dots everywhere else for tags
<DavidHeidelberg[m]>
because I already seen today "harbor.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/debian/arm64_test:2023-01-03-crosvm-virglrenderer--2023-01-03-crosvm-virglrenderer--2023-01-03-crosvm-virglrenderer--d5aa3941aa03c2f716595116354fb81eb8012acb": invalid reference format"
<DavidHeidelberg[m]>
dammit. Even SMS can do 160 :D
<DavidHeidelberg[m]>
they should use unsigned for the size "D
<bentiss>
DavidHeidelberg[m]: there's also the URL constraints, so you don't end up having a tag that suddenly tries to run a shell on the remote system, so if it's longer than 128 -> hard reject
