apparently the Free Desktop specifications specify what should be in X Window System (etc.) menus like in XFCE, KDE, GNOME, such as accessories, development, education, games, graphics, Internet, multimedia, office, science, system. A problem is you're specifying all these should be capitalized, when they're not proper nouns: not names of specific created works of code (with the exception of Internet) and as such, that's ungrammatical (bad
<darwin>
grammar), though I guess Windows popularized that. No one says/writes "I'm going to my Garage to open my Toolbox to get my Hammer and Saw to work on my Workbench on a Project"--that's just ungrammatical... same with how things are similarly done on computers capitalizing unnecessarily
<darwin>
if someone capitalized their program name, that's another story... but categories aren't capitalized except in academia (departments, classes) which not all computers are used for
<darwin>
same with standard newer user directories/folders (I guess Windows popularized ungrammatically)

hmm, maybe X.org foundation membership should be made conditional on a promise to participate in the vote
