cwabbott: I'll re-review once you mark the MR as ready :)
<vmiklos>
julien: daniels offered to fix it, just give him a bit of time :)
<julien>
vmiklos: ok, let's wait then. Thank you for the quick feedback! :-)
<julien>
bye!

<daniels>
vmiklos: it should be fixed now
<daniels>
but yeah, cgit is definitely legacy for us and we're not going to continue it forever, so I'd encourage you to find an alternative if you want cgit and email feeds
<vmiklos>
thanks, will check once the next push happens :)
<vmiklos>
is there a differentiation between cgit and the commit list there? i personally don't mind about cgit, but the commit list is really useful for post-push peer review :)
<cwabbott>
eric_engestrom: yeah, still running it through CI
<cwabbott>
btw, I was using ".*(vk|anv).*" as the test glob for ci_run_n_monitor, but that catches debian/x86_64_test-vk which is manual so it refuses to start it and none of the valve jobs run 🤡
<eric_engestrom>
yeah you need to add --force-manual
<cwabbott>
I didn't want to because I don't want to run all the -full jobs yet until the regular jobs pass
<eric_engestrom>
yeah, that flag is completely the wrong way of thinking about this, but the right way requires renaming all of our jobs to have coherent names across drivers and I haven't done that yet
<cwabbott>
well, ci_run_n_monitor could manually start a job if it matches but is also a dependency of some other (non-manual) job that matches
<eric_engestrom>
(oh and it requires significant rewrite of ci_run_n_monitor because it has grown organically and not architectured in a coherent way either)
<eric_engestrom>
yeah, that too, but that also requires that rewrite of ci_run_n_monitor
<eric_engestrom>
everything is mangled right now, but it should be divided into 1) figure out what the user wants to run, 2) figure out what is needed for that, and 3) run that
<eric_engestrom>
right now it does all three at the same time, and it's like a tangled knot mess, trying to add anything is blocked by everything being tied together
<eric_engestrom>
(and honestly if I'm rewriting most of that tool (all its core logic), I'm probably going to rewrite the UI as well because we could be doing _so_ much better, and at that point I'll be adding another script next to it and wait for people to try it and move on to it before removing the old one)

daniels, emersion, bentiss - I can't seem to get access to the x.org or freedesktop.org wiki anymore - and that's hooked into some of the secretary scripts we use for running board meetings
