<ungeskriptet> Marijn[m]: Is this still the case? https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/msm/-/issues/42
<Marijn[m]> ungeskriptet: 2 days ago, yes
<ungeskriptet> Oh okay
<ungeskriptet> I want to try working on the dual DSI cmd mode panel in my tablet again, which branch should I choose?
<Marijn[m]> I would wait until we figure out the register issues, that should make it much easier
<Marijn[m]> Note also that the aforementioned issue is not directly related to dual-DSI... Just an MSM regression that is preventing me from really working on anything panel-related
<Marijn[m]> ungeskriptet: instead, the issue to track dual-DSI cmdmode + DSC support is tracked in https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/msm/-/issues/41
<Marijn[m]> abhinav__: have you or jessica_24 taken a look at the devcoredump yet?
<ungeskriptet> Thanks, I guess I'll wait a little more then
<ungeskriptet> Although, my panel doesn't have DSC
<Marijn[m]> Then you can get away with just Dmitry and my dual-DSI / active-CTL patches... What SoC were you on again?
<ungeskriptet> SM8250
<Marijn[m]> ungeskriptet: https://github.com/SoMainline/linux/commits/marijn/longbois-next/drivers/gpu/drm/msm there are a bit too many patches on there though, some are related to DSC and others are me trying and failing to regression-test series published to the lists
<abhinav__> Marijn[m] sorry for the delay. the team is currently working on https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/msm/-/issues/43 and https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/msm/-/issues/40 as these two were reported by many users . your bug is up next after this.
<abhinav__> setup issues and some team members being sick also slowed things a bit last 2 weeks
<Marijn[m]> abhinav__: oh, that is unfortunate. I've tried Jonathan's patches and changes to `pic_width` (as we discussed before) but it doesn't solve the problem. I've also posted some suggestions for #40 but there has not been any followup yet

<luka177[m]> Hi, i have tried https://patchwork.kernel.org/project/linux-arm-msm/list/?series=801176 with 2:2:2 hack on video mode panel and there
<luka177[m]> is some progress likely.
<luka177[m]> I do get data on whole panel and there is nothing moving anymore
<luka177[m]> I have a pattern like that. In fact do look like wrong timings but i cant see anything wrong with them.
