<gediz> DRM is somehow broken on 5.13-rc1. works on 5.12.8
<gediz> using Lima on A13 btw
<gediz> gonna bisect it

<gamiee> gediz: sun4i-drm doesn't work for me on 5.12
<gamiee> last version I have verified is 5.10
<gediz> gamiee: oh. how come?
<gediz> i'm able to test kmscube on "5.12.0 #1 SMP Tue Jun 1 11:57:38 +03 2021 armv7l GNU/Linux"
<gamiee> gediz: kmscube works for me too. But glxgears don't working for me (with X server). Yesterday I was asking for help in #lima , and after debugging, it ended up that it can be probably sun4i-drm driver issue, since even on mainline 5.12.4 (no patches), it didn't worked
<gamiee> I'm going to test 5.10 today, since on this kernel version on Armbian, everything worked well
<gediz> gamiee: that's really strange
<gediz> i'm trying to use framebuffer by the way. maybe there's another problem with X server?

<gamiee> gediz: hard to say, maybe it's related.

<gediz> i hope i did not do something wrong but ea718c699055c8566eb64432388a04974c43b2ea seems to be the change which breaks DRM
<gediz> how is fw_devlink is related, i really have no idea

<smaeul> fw_devlink determines driver probe order by device tree producer/consumer relationships
<smaeul> and it doesn't know about the dependency on the sunxi SRAM driver
<smaeul> megi: do you plan to send this patch as a fix before v5.13 is released?

<megi> I still need to test it on some other devices with just HDMI

<megi> gediz: you use HDMI?
<megi> then you need last 3 patches from here https://megous.com/git/linux/log/?h=fixes-5.13
