<tuxd3v> apritzel, I have /sys/class/pwm/pwmchip0/
<tuxd3v> but I don't see the endpoints to control the pwm of frequency

<jernej> apritzel: do you know any reason why reset on H616 wouldn't work?
<jernej> I'm using today's TF-A master branch, today's U-Boot master branch and your v6 Linux branch
<apritzel> jernej: on a TV box?
<jernej> no, OrangePi Zero2
<apritzel> jernej: what's the effect? it resets for me into FEL, both from Linux and U-Boot (no SD card inserted)
<jernej> apritzel: if I call "reboot" from Linux, I just get "reboot: Restarting system" and nothing happens
<jernej> rebooting from U-Boot works
<jernej> let me try to update userspace
<apritzel> mmh, interesting, it resets into FEL
<apritzel> I booted from SD, loaded Linux+initrd via TFTP, then "reboot -f" from there
<apritzel> it doesn't load from SD, but ends up in FEL
<apritzel> and sunxi-fel wdreset resets, but again into FEL, skipping the SD card
<apritzel> power-cycling works, though
<jernej> yeah, I don't want to pull cable non-stop
<apritzel> and indeed from U-Boot it works as well
<apritzel> strange
<jernej> if it's in FEL, then it's not that bad
<jernej> for me, at least
<apritzel> ah, wait, U-Boot reset is not via PSCI, is it?
<jernej> it should be
<jernej> you requested to set it by default in defconfig IIRC
<jernej> apritzel: I have CONFIG_PSCI_RESET=y in U-Boot .config
<apritzel> right, I remember ...
<apritzel> jernej: afk for a bit (too nice weather), but will debug it later. Thanks for the heads up
<jernej> and we just have bad weather :)
<jernej> np

<apritzel> jernej: maybe the normal watchdog is somehow disabled by Linux (parent clock turned off)?
<jernej> could be
<apritzel> the "secure" watchdogs don't seem to work, I see TF-A panic because it's still alive after the timeout

<smaeul> is bit 16 of 0x7000060 (HOSC_32K_DIVIDER_ENABLE) set? possibly that 24M/750 divider is the same one used for the watchdog
<smaeul> it's also possible that some leftover state is preventing the BROM from accessing the SD card
<jernej> apritzel: even though FEL seems to be working, I can't boot U-Boot over it
<jernej> SPL seems to load and execute, but not TF-A
<jernej> smaeul: register 0x7000060 reads as 0 after failed reboot
<jernej> actually I'm not sure if that's accurate
<jernej> FEL doesn't work well...
<apritzel> smaeul: yeah, I was also thinking about some leftover state
<apritzel> because it apparently enters the BROM again, so the actual watchdog reset seemed to have worked
<apritzel> but then this should really reset most of the chip ...

<tuxd3v> apritzel, thanks
<tuxd3v> I am now configuring polarity
<tuxd3v> be default it comes 'inversed', but I believe I want 'normal'
