<jernej> gamiee: I ordered from AliExpress, because I have plenty of other things to do in the meantime
<smaeul> while I don't have any CEC hardware, so I can't test it, I would be happy to add CEC support to crust
<smaeul> s/add/merge/ really

<smaeul> here's some CEC "example code": https://tpaste.us/WEkx
<smaeul> I'm guessing bit 0 of the undocumented register is the "Wakeupstatus" signal referenced in the BSP code

<jernej> smaeul: can you explain this a bit more? Which BSP are you refering to? I hear for existence of 0x7d33 for the first time.
<jernej> is code you linked taken from amlogic FW? I remmeber they implemented CEC logic there
<jernej> note, wake up message can go in either direction, depending which device you wake up first
<jernej> I received few "CEC wake up" feature requests over time, so this would be useful
<jernej> hm... if SBC is woken up first, I guess it's userspace responsibility to send wake up message

<gamiee> @libv: although I have enough skills and tools to do this, I would probably prefer to get board, so I don't need to strip the hdmi cable
<gamiee> @jernej: I will probably buy the thing from shopify, I would like to work on it ASAP.
<gamiee> @smaeul: thanks, I will take look on it when the hdmi board will arrive
<smaeul> jernej: this is from the H6 arisc_vsuperm blob
<jernej> oh, interesting
<smaeul> for "Wakeupstatus" I am referring to drivers/video/sunxi/disp2/hdmi2/hdmi_core/api/cec.h in the H6 BSP
<jernej> yeah, I'm familiar with that one
<jernej> in every documentation/source I have, 0x7d31 is the last CEC register
<jernej> I suspect this is something custom
<jernej> it may even exist only on H6

<smaeul> possibly. that one blob is the only one I found which references CEC registers
<libv> gamiee: it's not a cable, it's a small male/female module about 4cm long
apritzel has joined #linux-sunxi
<jernej> smaeul: that's understandable, because CEC was not very well supported on 40 nm SoC, if at all
