<gamiee> hello. does anyone know if s_spi_sda on A64 is possible to use ? What does "s_" prefix mean? (I remember reading it somewhere, but can't find it)? Thanks

<smaeul> gamiee: where do you see s_spi_sda referenced? A64 has no SPI controller in the CPUS domain. "SPI SDA" sounds to me like 3-wire SPI, maybe using GPIOs?
<gamiee> MoeIcenowy: great, thank you!
<gamiee> smaeul: sorry, it was typo. I meant TWI/I2C

<hramrach> how would the reboot to FEL integrate with the current reboot logic?
<hramrach> the sysreset walk funcion tries each reset type in turn, and there is no sane place for this kind of reset in the order - it has to be orthogonal to the current logic

<smaeul> gamiee: ah. yes, the s_twi aka r_i2c bus is usable. for example Pinebook uses it for its DSI to eDP bridge.
<smaeul> hramrach: the function that programs the reboot mode would need to be called before walking the sysreset devices
<smaeul> agree it is orthogonal to the sysreset type
