<karlp> has there been any discussion about CONFIG_SYS_BOOTM_LEN being too small in uboot? for a while sunxi had an a64 patch that made it bigger, but now it's all in kconfig,
<karlp> but it's still only 8M, which can easily get blown past with a kernel and initramfs.
<karlp> uboot looks to have mountains of defconfigs specifying bigger sections, but, it just seems so small?
<ungeskriptet> I finally got UART working on my tablet :>
<ungeskriptet> Turns out UART1 is in the camera connector
<ungeskriptet> And luckily there was a test point on the back to which I could solder my wire easily
<ungeskriptet> Oh and also my board (iNet 86CE) is almost the same as iNet 86VE/iNet 86VS
<ungeskriptet> Btw, I still can't confirm my E-Mail on the wiki, I'd like to document it all at some point

<jernej> I'm still baffled with OrangePi 3 LTS network issue - it seems that PHY is tricky to power up, or maybe I'm missing something important
<jernej> anyone having stable ethernet on OPi 3 LTS?

<jakllsch> did you get the timings right on the phy?
<jernej> no, this is before communication

<ungeskriptet> Does someone know how to fix initcall sequence 5dff0eb0 failed at call 4a002199 (err=-19)? Or is this some generic driver error?
<jernej> I guess workaround by putting "regulator-boot-on;" to reg_gmac_3v3 should do
<jernej> ungeskriptet: that error is -ENODEV. can you provide full dmesg?

<apritzel> ungeskriptet: yeah, saw this, that's odd. I guess you copied/used the defconfig and .dts from some other tablet?
<apritzel> jernej: I think this is about U-Boot ...
<ungeskriptet> Yes i used iNet_86VS_defconfig
<apritzel> ungeskriptet: you can do: "objdump -d u-boot" to find out what's at address 0x4a002199
<ungeskriptet> Since it is pretty much the same to my tablet
<apritzel> another approach would be to strip this one down, for instance to drop anything display related
<apritzel> basically just serial and MMC, maybe regulators
* ungeskriptet posted a file: u-boot.objdump (4548KiB) < https://matrix.org/_matrix/media/v3/download/matrix.org/sgnGRWhffngARckuebIqDlfp >
<ungeskriptet> Hm I can't find 0x4a002199 in the objdump
<apritzel> it's 0x4a002198 plus the Thumb2 bit, but that's just board_init(), so not really helpful
<apritzel> I think you should add "#define DEBUG" to the very(!) top of board_f.c, and see if that gives you more output
