Looks like it's detecting input but can't handle it properly, nothing in dmesg tho
<Vilez[m]>
i think there's something with max-x and max-y values under goodix node
<Vilez[m]>
Because last time touchscreen wasn't working i had the exactly same issue. it was max-x and max-y problem

hello everyone!! I have a Redmi note 9 Pro and I want to install pmOS. I currently have Droidian installed and I wanted to know if it is necessary to install the latest version of miui first to have the firmware in the latest version or is it already included when flashing pmOS. Thanks!!
<jojo_autoboy[m]>
pmos/mainline has less strict requirements on firmware then halium
<jojo_autoboy[m]>
it should be fine as is
<jojo_autoboy[m]>
(also for droidian you only really need an older vendor partition, rest of the phone doesn't really matter)

<jojo_autoboy[m]> "it should be fine as is" <- Thank you very much 😊
<an0n-[m]>
and another question... is it advisable to install a recovery like orange fox in case there is a problem??? if so, which one is recommended for this device??? I have seen that twrp does not have an official version and I do not know which one is reliable...

Check your schematics
<jojo_autoboy[m]>
<an0n-[m]> "and another question... is it..." <- recoveries are only really useful for android or backing up partitions
<jojo_autoboy[m]>
orangefox works fine on mine though

I already imagine that I would not serve for little more than to get out of a bootloop and turn off the device with pmos. But it gives me some security that if it happens to me to be able to restart it in it and turn off the device in that case since I have not found a way to turn it off from the Fastboot mode directly on the Xiaomi devices. thanks for the information
<jojo_autoboy[m]>
if you leave it unplugged while in fastboot it turns off after a bit
<Adrian[m]>
fastboot oem poweroff is a thing on Xiaomis
