<kaazoo> Hi tobhe, I commented on that ticket. As far as I know normal desktop applications still don't work good enough through muvm, because sommelier has problems with non-fullscreen applications. But I didn't test any of that. I only used Steam to launch games so far.
<kaazoo> And thanks for the fix for the tar command.
<kaazoo> Meanwhile, I've built muvm-0.1.4 and steam. Steam .deb already builds and installs locally. Will upload to launchpad asap.
<tobhe[m]> I noticed that they also released a fix for the steam breakage
<kaazoo> They? Valve or Asahi?
<kaazoo> There was a Steam client update recently. But that wasn't the fix. In FEX release notes a fix is mentioned: https://github.com/FEX-Emu/FEX/releases/tag/FEX-2412
<tobhe[m]> they fex
<tobhe[m]> I think the fix is from Lina, fedora shipped a patched fex for a while and now it made it into mainline
<kaazoo> OK, cool
<kaazoo> muvm-0.2.0 has been released 1 hour ago: https://github.com/AsahiLinux/muvm/releases/tag/muvm-0.2.0
<kaazoo> Time to update muvm again....
<kaazoo> I also wanted to update mesa to the latest tag for Vulkan 1.4 support and whatever else they fixed.
<kaazoo> OK, steam packages are built, but still pending publishing: https://launchpad.net/~kaazoo/+archive/ubuntu/ubuntu-asahi-gaming/+packages
