<kaazoo> Hi, I was able to build libxshmfence and integrate into the FEX root fs. I new tarball is available at https://kernelpanik.net/vulkan_and_steam_on_ubuntu_asahi/
<kaazoo> There are also packages for muvm-0.2.0 now, but they are still pending publishing.

<kaazoo> Thanks to the patched libxshmfence, Steam can run in normal windowed mode now. Also games that were not able to use the correct screen size work correctly (e.g. FEZ, Feist).
<kaazoo> I see some visual glitches (pink flashing color on animated transparent icons), but in-game everything looks correct. Might be something that got fixed in recent mesa packages, which we don't have yet.

<tobhe[m]> nice, I'll have to try that. I think pink artifacts have always been a thing with this driver, especially with X

<kaazoo> Beside mesa, there are also new changes for https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/asahi/virglrenderer

<tobhe[m]> I can take a look at mesa, probably a trivial update anyway
<tobhe[m]> There is also a WIP mesa-asahi package from our Debian team now, so maybe we can sync ours with that https://salsa.debian.org/bananas-team/wip/mesa-asahi
<tobhe[m]> passed the supertuxkart test
<tobhe[m]> copying to ubuntu-asahi/ubuntu-asahi
<tobhe[m]> oh my, the jemalloc in fex is not 16k comaptible...
<tobhe[m]> s/comaptible/compatible/
<tobhe[m]> guess I'll have to chroot on another machine
<tobhe[m]> On native wayland only --sommelier works for me, native X11 the steam wrapper works too
