<whiskey9> HdkR: You should try disabling the nvme on your computer and netboot grub. I found that when the nvme is enabled and/or a USB flash drive is plugged in, it seems to have the strange grub behavior. If I do an ls, it sees ~100 partitions on hd0 (which isn't plugged in/enabled), and starts complaining about not being able to read it.
<whiskey9> I just re-read that - to complete that thought - *when* there are no block devices enabled/blocked in *AND* I netboot grub, it sees ~100 partitions on hd0 and finally complains about not being able to read from it.

<gabertron> robclark:
<gabertron> "all the other oleds seem to work with the same samsung panel driver"
<gabertron> which patches are those?
<gabertron> i have the same new t14s with 2880x1800@120.0 display (just got it yesterday)

<albsen[m]> <steev> "I want it for teh 64GB of ram..." <- me too, holding out for a decent thinkpad with 64gb and the x13s form factor. I need tons ram and hardly any cpu :D
<steev> albsen[m]: they have the t14s with 64gb available now
<steev> oh dang, rc6 has pretty much everything of the c630 in except my slpi patch that i never submitted upstream

<gabertron> thanks
<albsen[m]> <steev> "albsen: they have the t14s with..." <- the t14s is close - and if they dont update the x13s I might end up getting one sometime in the future, but the 1cm on each side makes a big difference for me in terms of portability (at the moment I can literally slide the laptop into a tiny backpack - wouldnt even call it that its so small and I can charge it from any charger that supplies at least 5W ie. from my cars usb port or the
<albsen[m]> usb on a hotel TV. I even once charged it with a charger that only supplied 1A but the laptop had to be closed for that. I didn't know what a big deal this was for me until I experienced true portability together with thinkpad toughness so it doesn't need a cover or anything really.
<steev> that's fair, but also, what backpack please :D i'm always on the lookout
<albsen[m]> steev: where r u based, I got mine in germany
<steev> alas, somewhere in the south of the US

<nirik> Anyone done any hunting for the webcam on the slim7x yet? I'm happy to test or gather info for someone who knows what to look for/try. I'd guess it's just a devicetree addition?

<steev> bamse: did you ever find your c630 again, and if so, is rc6 broken with the wifis for you?
