tpw_rules: I'm very happy you updated nixos-apple-silicon. I'm currently trying to install nixos on my M2 Max MBP. I am in the live environment of nixos and modified my nix config. But wifi does not seem to work.
<rowanG337>
I get periodic "brcmf_escan_timeout: timer expired" messages
<rowanG337>
In iwctl running "station wlan0 show" shows the properties. Scanning: No and State: disconnected.
<rowanG337>
I expect something is going on with the WIFI driver but I'm not sure how to proceed here
<rowanG337>
Would you have any clue?

I will try to install fedora to see if the issue persists there

I installed Fedora. Wifi works. BUT in dmesg there is still "brcmf_escan_timeout: timer expired" a few times.
<rowanG337>
So that may not be the root cause

Any tips on how to recover from an unbootable (linux) system? I have no USB input as of uboot, nor grub. I can boot recovery or Mac just fine, USB/trackpad working in recovery, but once uboot takes over, I can't interrupt or kernel switch in grub to something working. M1 mac mini, tried several USB cables/adapters/ports both A and C.

kdb424: maybe you could fix u-boot from macos, it is on vfat type partition which is accessible from macos
<rowanG337>
Oke I removed fedora and booted the USB nixos installer again. Now wifi works.

Looks like it was my keyboard. It hates my ZMK keyboardss, some of my QMK keyboards (though not all) and all of my KMK keyboards. Glad I have literally piles of keyboards. Thanks for the help mps
