u154ss: i'll have an ISO for you at some point tonight, it took me far longer than i'd hoped to recover my server's rootfs after last night's clownery ;)
<chadmed>
i did some testing, if youve successfully gotten to the livecd grub you can just ignore the xhci timeouts. its just u-boots usb stack sucking (as expected)
<chaos_princess>
chadmed: confirming boots
<chadmed>
lets gooooo
<chadmed>
releng dont want to fix catalyst to work properly with dracut, so i guess im hosting builds for the foreseeable future
<sam_>
you're being dramatic
<sam_>
it's a quick eclass change?
<chadmed>
its not going to be quick if the "proper" fix is going to be to completely change how distkernels are versioned/their directories are named
<chadmed>
who knows what else that is going to break
<sam_>
"completely change"? it's one strip of _p*?
<sam_>
there's only a handful of dist kernel ebuilds
<sam_>
anyway i weighed in
<chadmed>
ill see what changing it does next week when i have more time. im not opposed to making the change (as i said), its just something that has to be done
