sven: the write 2 is a bit odd but I've seen exactly the same in an intel LTE modem chipset. queues, doorbells, but after a while the chip goes to sleep and the doorbells don't work until you wake it with a different register. unfortunately sheds no light on the 0/1 business!

yeah, all other Broadcom chips just expose bt as uart but these require a custom driver

the transport seems to be called “Apple Converged IPC” and it’s a bit unclear if it’s just Broadcom or some apple/Broadcom collaboration
