marcan: Is there any coding standard, for the C code? I am reading my way through the code and would like to add some comments as I understand things
<amw>
I would like this to be helpful to others that come later so complying to a acceptable format would be good

amw: there is a clang-format file, `make format` reformats the code

jannau: clang-7 doesn't like the m1n1/.clang-format info ? Perhaps later version? Not sure it says anything about comments - e.g. @param style stuff used in the kernel et cetera
<sven>
i don't think we have any style for comments yet
<amw>
Hmm clang-format is up to 12 :-( Sigh - 7 is Dec 2018 - pretty old
<sven>
clang-format version 11.0.1 works for me

Hi! I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask; I've got an M1 where I want to run some tests and require a kext kernel module. So, I am still on macOS and haven't setup Linux yet. However, I fail to link against mp_rendezvous_no_intrs to run some instructions on all cores. Does anyone know if there is a different function I could use or what could cause this issue? (So the symbol is not exported but I
<mpaq>
see it in the kernel image (/System/Library/Kernels/kernel). What confuses me a bit on a sitenote is that /System/Library/Kernels/kernel is reported as x86_64 by file
<j_ey>
I dont think its the right place for kext dev

hi, is it better to sponsor through github or through pateron?
<VinDuv>
jelly: hi! IIRC marcan said on Twitter that GitHub was better (because lower fees)
