Hi all, I'm new here, do you have any advice on how I can contribute to the project? I've been studying computer arc stuff for 2 years now and I'd love to learn more about it
<mkf727>
also with the DTLB_MISSES counter having counters 5,6,7 in the mask, do y'all know why it has multiple counters allocated? it seems to only count in 5 for me
<maz>
mkf727: they certainly counted on all 3 for me. that's how I re'd the mask.
<mkf727>
you're right, i had some sloppy C&P in my function that printed them out
<mkf727>
have y'all reversed the PMCR0 and PMCR1 registers yet? i've found stuff here and there about them but i'm not quite sure if i have the right things enabled
<maz>
PMCR0/1 are pretty well understood. that's how you enable interrupt signalling and per-counter enabling (PMCR0), as well as per EL filtering (PMCR1).
