<mps>
I attached external usb audio card and driver is loaded, alsamixer works with it (increase/decrease volume and mute/unmute) but playing audio audio with mpv and mpg123 doesn't work. both players are 'stuck' on start
<mps>
tested with two cards and both works on other machine
<jannau>
includes the pmgr driver and the PCIe reset patches and updates some patches
<mps>
jannau: thanks, will try to build it tomorrow
<cth451_desktop>
I might be wrong but this sounds like some process already opened the alsa device
<cth451_desktop>
but on my system any other process try to open a card in use gets a -EBUSY
<mps>
cth451_desktop: no, nothing use card
<cth451_desktop>
Out of ideas.
<mps>
cth451_desktop: np, also I'm
<mps>
impatiently waiting for povik to release driver
<cth451_desktop>
It might be helpful to see what happened before aplay got into ppoll
<cth451_desktop>
jannau: 0054-fixup-arm64-dts-apple-Add-missing-M1-t8103-devices.patch seems to be empty
<mps>
cth451_desktop: it is not important to me for now because I don't have much time to work on it and test
<mps>
cth451_desktop: anyway, thank for trying to help me to solve problem
<jannau>
