<graphitemaster>
Does Intel (on Windows) not support 32-bit float depth buffers in GL 4.6?
<HdkR>
Does gpuinfo.org show the extension on Intel plus Windows?
mclasen has quit [Ping timeout: 480 seconds]
<graphitemaster>
I didn't think it was an extension
<graphitemaster>
I thought 4.6 Core _required_ it
<graphitemaster>
What even is the extension name, I know NV has one but I doubt that's what I'm looking for.

Hmm.. I seem to have a race condition on my ANV device: "Intel(R) UHD Graphics 600 (GLK 2)", driverVersion 0x5800001 (mesa-vulkan-drivers 22.0.1-1ubuntu2.1)
<haasn>
I write to noncoherent mapped memory with a compute shader, then emit a VkBufferMemoryBarrier with VK_ACCESS_HOST_READ_BIT in the dstAccessMask
<haasn>
after this memory barrier finishes, I run vkInvalidateMappedMemoryRanges on the memory range

Duke`` has joined #dri-devel
<haasn>
But my mapped data pointer still contains its old values until some unspecified amount of time passes (it's random, but running it through a debugger makes it work)
<haasn>
I haven't yet tested this but presumably adding a sleep would do the same
<haasn>
Hmm no, even adding a 100ms sleep doesn't get it to work. The race condition must be from something else

<mattst88>
mesa-22.0 should work fine with llvm-14, right?
<dj-death>
gitlab is down?
<mattst88>
yes, it appears to be
<dj-death>
haasn: I think we have some code for some platform that requires a double clflush()
<mattst88>
504 bad gateway
<dj-death>
haasn: I see we're not using that helper for vkInvalidateMappedMemoryRanges
<pixelcluster>
mattst88: yea I think it's down for everyone, fixing is in progress in #freedesktop

dj-death: I'll test it when I can, but right now to test this I have to ssh into a NUC running on an unstable arabian home connection and launch a docker container with broken terminfo, and the machine of course has no mosh/tmux/screen/etc. installed
<haasn>
so, fun stuff
<haasn>
dj-death: however, eyeballing it, that does seem to me very suspicious 8)
