<bryanodonoghue> vknecht in theory yes
<bryanodonoghue> let me give you a set of commands for the TPG to test it
<bryanodonoghue> recent changes mean, even if you don't declare a sensor in your dts - you should still be able to launch the camss driver and run the test-pattern-generator
<bryanodonoghue> TPG within the CSI decoder - CSID block
<bryanodonoghue> meeting I'll get back to you
<HappY[m]> Hello dears devs.. ! I really need help.. I added ath11k_pci wifi & bt (wcn6855) .. but Bluetooth never worked with wcn6855, always show (uart completed) but bt never up.. With "qca6390" bt was worked but I don't have firmwares.... & wifi I seriously unable to find out problem..I would appreciate , if anyone help me with that..... <bryanodonoghue> vknecht[m]
<bryanodonoghue> media-ctl --reset
<bryanodonoghue> ~/Development/yavta/yavta --list /dev/v4l-subdev2
<bryanodonoghue> ~/Development/yavta/yavta --no-query -w '0x009f0903 1' /dev/v4l-subdev2
<bryanodonoghue> media-ctl -d /dev/media0 -V '"msm_csid0":0[fmt:UYVY8_1X16/1920x1080 field:none]'
<bryanodonoghue> media-ctl -l '"msm_csid0":1->"msm_ispif0":0[1]'
<bryanodonoghue> media-ctl -l '"msm_ispif0":1->"msm_vfe0_rdi0":0[1]'
<bryanodonoghue> media-ctl -d /dev/media0 -V '"msm_ispif0":0[fmt:UYVY8_1X16/1920x1080 field:none]'
<bryanodonoghue> media-ctl -d /dev/media0 -V '"msm_vfe0_rdi0":0[fmt:UYVY8_1X16/1920x1080]'
<bryanodonoghue> media-ctl -d /dev/media0 -p
<bryanodonoghue> ~/Development/yavta/yavta -B capture-mplane --capture=5 -n 5 -I -f UYVY -s 1920x1080 --file=TPG-UYVU8-1920x1080-000-#.bin /dev/video0
<bryanodonoghue> just enable &camss{} in your dts
<bryanodonoghue> should populate v4l subdevices in /dev
<bryanodonoghue> including the CSID
<bryanodonoghue> if you can run the TPG you know the hardware basically works
<bryanodonoghue> may need to look into the CSIPHY but, probably not
<bryanodonoghue> then you just need to hook up sensor<=>endpoints

<ajhalaney[m]> Do any of the upstream supported qualcom socs support s2mem? iiuc right now things are capable down to s2idle levels.... is that a correct understanding or am I way off the mark?
<bamse> ajhalaney[m]: older socs used to do s2ram...but in practice it was still pretty much the same hardware state as s2idle
<bamse> ajhalaney[m]: so the answer to your actual question, the answer is no
<bamse> ajhalaney[m]: none of the platforms that fully implements "s2ram" are upstream
